by Alex Zimmerman "...the hull and spars were built by early fall of 2021. On my previous open boats, this would have been about half the total work, but Camas Moon is much more complex."
Great build! The only thing I do not like is the inward cant of upper half the topsides. That really cramps foot space for walking forward. I lifeline stanchions are added, there will be even less walking space.
No lifeline stanchions. It's true that there is not a lot of foot room alongside the pilothouse sides, but there is just enough. With the toe rail on the deck and the grab rail alongside the hatch, I find that it is safe enough going forward and coming back.
If there was some clever way to lead the halyards aft so as to be able to raise sail and reef from the cockpit, one could avoid going forward at all except for anchoring. A future project perhaps
(Josh, it would be awesome if the previous two parts were added to your new digital platform... hint, hint... Thanks, in advance!)
Beautiful work.

Such a cool boat, Alex! Thanks for documenting it's development so well, Tad now has a build manual for this sweet little vessel!!
