What do you call a rig like this, with a jib/genoa bigger than the main, and the main is too forward to be a mizzen, and too small to actually BE a main, and the jib/genoa is so big and it's mast so far forward, it would make the boat a catboat, except that there's that mini-main aft?
To me it is a cat-ketch, like a Sea Pearl 21 or a Core Sound by B&B Yachts. The main is up front and the aft sail is still a mizzen even though it isn't hanging off the transom. There is no jib sail.
A very elegant little boat, but what would you expect from a Dutchman named Kees? Very well done!

This one is cool, but on the big side, for me. The boat by Kees that I’d love to read all about is his Dunlin!
