Yes, my wife and I rowed it in July of 2019. We used a cart for the portages. It's an amazing loop. I'd love to go back solo and sail it for a couple of weeks.
The bugs were an issue, not so much on the water, but during portages and at camp. The ranger actually told us it was a low count year for them. It defiantly inspired longer days on the water (being able to stand up, stretch, and move around in the Skerry on those longer days was a big plus).
Such Beauty, when I sail my local waters I see Mangroves & Manatees. I would love to sail in the areas in the photos. The Gulf Coast is home waters and still a great cruising area.
I've spent some time on the water up there and one of the great things about that area is that every where you look there is something worth putting up on your wall . These pics are great ! And I might put a couple on my wall !
Beautiful images from Nathan--someone who’s really gotten out there, and isn’t missing a moment of the experience.
Thank you Marty, I've enjoyed your photo galleries!

What boat is Turnstone and who designed her?
Turnstone is a 1987 Nimble 20, Ted Brewer design. SCA reviewed her back in issue #45.
