We want to send you lots of interesting small-boat content, but we also try to limit our e-mail output some so that your email inbox isn’t (further) overloaded. With that in mind, below are a few links to articles that were recently posted to the website, but not emailed directly to your inbox.
First, Dave Scobie talked about some changes to our Small Boat Event Calendar.
Second, here is the latest Calendar update for event for April-June events.
Finally, we published a note on SCA co-founder Craig Wagner’s passing here.
Some additional notes and reminders:
We are always looking for new submissions. Have you taken an interesting small-boat trip? Modified or built a boat? Learned a seamanship lesson or some other practical tips? Maybe you’d like to share your collection of favorite small-boat related photos?
Feel free to send queries or complete articles along to josh@smallcraftadvisor.com. We aren’t presently paying for content but can promise a nice presentation and enthusiastic audience.
Did you know you can visit our Substack site directly—not just read articles in your email? Simply go to this website. For addtional tips on how to get the most from your subscription read this. If you’re new to this site and looking for more to read, be sure to look through our growing archive.
We’ve got lots more fun content on the way—find a comfortable spot on the boat!

Is there a way to turn off emails? I check the actual site frequently, I'd prefer to not get the emails as they clutter up my inbox and I've usually read the article before I check the email.
Josh, I never knew there was a website along with the emails. I rather enjoy the emails but will start looking at the website as well.
Also, Craig Wagner was your uncle was he not? My sincerely condolences on your loss and I apologize for the delay. Be of good cheer.
