Update about 2024 online calendar organization

Beginning in 2024 the calendar will include small boat building and sailing instruction classes. If you know of any please share with Dave at wdscobie@yahoo.com.

The calendar is posted in three-month blocks: January thru March, April thru June, July-Sept, Oct-Dec. Within each month the events are chronological. For activities that have happened in years past, but are not yet scheduled, their listing is placed at the end of their historical month.

Electronic publication makes adjustments and changes fairly easy, though the Substack software has limited formatting options. For example there is no calendar widget or way to sort data fields. An article, or post, is text with a few styles allowed: bold, italic, strike-through and the insertion of photos.

Each occasion’s entry will begin with the title, and generally be followed by the date(s) and location. A short description will be included to give folks an idea of the activities one can expect if they attend. If available, a link to the event’s website will be shared or a contact email address.
