Thanks Josh, for the compliment to “Eider”! She’s one of a few, I soo wish I’d never let go of! That sliding pilothouse hatch made her soo comfortable, and also made her look more ship-shape somehow. Her woodstove too! Busy now. About to go visit family in Japan. When I get back, I’ll try to write about her here with a bunch of great photos.
Both Welsford and Vivier also admired her enough ( probably thanks to your compliments) that they each asjed me more about her pros and cons, before designing there own slightly larger vessels with similar shallow fixed keels!!
