A small boat does not need an electrical panel, I wired my Sparrow 16 with four circuits coming from a blade terminal block on the battery.
The four circuits go to two dash sockets, one overhead LED light. There was a water pump to the sink already installed, so it got a circuit.
The VM meter plugs into the dash socket and shows voltage and provides two USB plugins.
The dash socket in the cockpit is to plug in the MEGA LIGHT I use for an anchor light, also used to power the Navico Tiller Pilot. —Lon Zimmerman

Ahoy fellow Sparrow owner. I love the simplicity of your set-up.
I installed my system in a more traditional way using a switch box.
What size, type, and rating of battery are you using?
I have been using a U1, 35 amp-hour, AGM one, but I need to replace it.
Excellent. Many small boats do not need extensive complex electrical circuits to run a few lights and a bilge pump. Good way of illustrating this.
