Wow the Rocket looks like a Sunfish on steroids! Love it. I had a Sunfish and I miss the simplicity of it. Hmmm May have to seriously look at the Rocket
I think the Fareast 18 has been re-tooled as the 19R. There is a NA distributor in Quebec but Vancouver is a more likely entry point from China. Here's a Facebook link: https://m.facebook.com/FarEastBoatsCanada
They seem to have a demonstrator in Vancouver? and aspirations for a group order...
Another inflatable catamaran manufacturer to consider is the Austrian fin Gabner. Their Happy Cat series are outstanding. I sail the 14’ NEO. Having had a number of Hobie’s, the NEO flies in comparison.
The Malbec 18 is still in production. I believe 35 have been launched so far. She is such a sweet boat. I wish more people were aware of this option.
The Paine 14 is incredible--great looks and the ease of no standing rigging. Too bad I'd have to sell my house to afford it!

Timely article. Thanks.
The FlyingScot is still in production

Interesting boats. I LOVE my Sparrow 16 but that Paine 14 looks so lovely for a sail on a warm summer day!
The Rocket though looks fun though and easy to get in water at the drop of a hat.
Thanks for that insight, Peter.
