Keeping on Josh is the finest tribute to Craig you can offer.
Obviously he was a man in love with life.
W.B. Yeats summed up our longing for what passes away, saying that "Man is in love, and loves what vanishes, what more is there to say."
Our amnesia, both personal and collective, implies a continual loss of everything that is ours or is near us: a world of irrecoverable lost objects." You keeping on with SCA is his continuing legacy.
Let me add my condolences to the others. I am sorry to hear of Craig's passing. I will never meet the man here, but who knows what may happen when I also pass over the great divide.
I am sorry for your loss. My prayers are with your family. I am forever thankful for you and Craig in starting such an amazing magazine. It changed my life, and so many lives, to be passionate about small boats and the ability to adventure in them.
Loving tribute to your uncle. It's hard to sum up such a wonderful life, as I've just learned after the death of my father a couple of weeks ago. We are blessed to have such people in our lives.
Josh, sorry to hear about your uncle's passing. I don't believe we ever met but I certainly appreciate all that he brought into my life by co-founding SCA.
So sorry for your loss Josh. Worse than losing a loved one is the possibility that he/she might be lost forever, but we can have great hope. The God of all creation who came to earth in Jesus Christ to pay the price for our sins, said to the thief on the cross who acknowledged Him as Lord in their final moments on earth, "Assuredly I say to you, today you will be with Me in paradise." Luke 23:43. John 14:6.
I wouldn’t edit a word of it, Josh. A fine, loving tribute to Craig, and to the rest of your amazing family. - Marty

So sorry for your loss, too. And thank you, also.
Josh
I'm so sorry! I never met him, but feel like I should have. Especially after reading this.
If I had not written my own obit, I'd ask you to.
Best to you, your mom, and all the rest.
