Ok, you win. Like many small craft sailors, I'm cheap. I subscribed to the other, cheaper, on-line small craft publication. Then you started the mini-cruiser madness. There was no way a one week trial was going to full participation in the great reminder of the virtues of so many small sailing cruisers. Then you shared James McMullen's crossing of Admiralty Inlet crossing I must know how it ended. I'm going to have to skip a couple of lattes and pay for a full subscription. Well done demonstration of the value of SCA. thanks, Jim
What about a NorseBoat? We bought one this summer & couldn't be happier. It's completely set up for camp/cruising. But may not be well known enough to compete.
Thanks for going to all the trouble to create this 'fun-endeavour'. I am learning LOTS (won't help me because I don't expect to be on Jeopardy any time soon) -- and just want to thank you for creating this . . . and doing all the tabulations and telling the story along the way. I don't care about the eventual winner (unless it happens to be a SCAMP). Smile! Scott (Lake Superior)
If nothing else, I am getting a great education about boats I have read/heard about, but never had the chance to get an in-depth look at! Great fun, really.
The Mac 26 has an enclosed head and the 26c can be towed by a small SUV.. it sleeps 5 and can sail circles around the other boats in this list.. phrf 222 it also can be beached. Kids love this. What gives?
Joshua,

Love this series you are doing. Thanks for the fun! I may have to renew my subscription😁

Man this is a blast. Looking forward to the right side brackets. There are some tough decisions coming up on that left side.

So that's 6 out of 8 in which the smaller boat won? Be interesting if that continues.
Great summary of the early round. Horses for courses!
