Reader Rick Pratt shared his thoughts on our Study Plan of the Bedard-designed RoG. He writes:
Brilliant design. Excellent execution. The Chesapeake Sprit is my favorite for small weatherly boats. Cutting off the dead top triangle shows great familiarity with the rig..
The careful planning and long consideration of design characteristics shows a large measure of expertise and required an advanced understanding of hydrodynamics.
Bravo.

Oooh…would you look at that! The new Small Craft Advisor staff fleeces from Lands End have arrived. Since readers contribute so much it’s only fair we give one away. Leave a comment below if you’re interested. Please note we only have Med/Large/XL at this moment. If you think we should also offer them for sale let us know. —Eds •SCA•
I definitely think you should sell the fleeces, so if I don’t win one here, I can have the consolation prize of buying one!
Of course I’m interested in a Lands’ End fleece. I very much do enjoy small craft advisor. It’s a great publication for me a fan of small boats, a rower, a sailor and part-time adventure when time allows. I’ll bet that fleece could keep me nice and warm around the campfire.
