Lovely little cruiser, especially with the centerboard, and you'd have to look a long time to find a better cruising ground than the Thousand Islands. I'm sure you know that you can connect to Lake Champlain, the Erie Canal, the Finger Lakes, and the Great Lakes from there, also. Some of the most beautiful country on earth!

Like the original author, I've also owned a number of different boats over the years... there's something really exceptional about the Com-Pac 19 in that it offers this illusion of being a much larger boat than it is. It's really charming that way.

My current 19 is my second. The 19 is the only boat I've ever owned twice.

Finally got my 1991 WWP15 back on the water's of the Puget Sound and your cruise mirrors mine. Still figuring it out completely, but what a wonderful way to get on the water. And my Potter only draws about 4 inches, centerboard up (I win. hahaha 😄) So I'm considering drainage ditches, puddles, and occasional car washs for future adventures. Your trip sounds great!
