I guess this as good a place as any to thank Joshua and all the prior contributors to Small Craft Advisor. I am a late subscriber, maybe 3-4 years ago. At times, it seems like I'm oversubscribed to the digital feed. As I read the prior content I have a much greater appreciation for the content.
There has been a tendency for big boat sailors to under appreciate the efforts of small boat sailors. I tip my hat to both big and small and the wonderful written content.
Thanks to all for the book suggestions. Three decades ago, there were used book stores with sections on sailing. Many delightful books were found that way. The book stacks are a useful alternative to the past used book store. I have already ordered two books from other’s stack.
Just as I prefer plein air 'from-life' style paintings of vessels, I also prefer 'real-life' accounts of sailors and their stories. I'm a non-fiction kinda reader, just curious about others in this genre~
I’d like to send you my stack. How do I do that please?
Just email a photo and any text to me: josh@smallcraftadvisor.com
