Ah, this is why I miss the printed version of SCA. I would read and re-read such articles as this. B. Frank is among my heroes.

Well, being new to SCA, I didn't know him, but from this article, I can tell I would have liked him and his writings a lot. My own Other Being in a Fur Suit left this life 20+ years ago, and I still miss her. Frank's line, "fair winds" hit me so hard I gasped. Isn't it funny how you can hold yourself together until a tiny little trigger like that just tweaks the be-hoosus out of you!

As always…my Cousin has a “way with words, people, dogs, and occasionally Officialdom”…..ah maybe not so much the latter!….B. Frank’s last page in SCA was always my favorite!! I still find myself picking up unrelated magazines and looking to the last/ best page…..I will visit Cousin B. Frank towards the end of next week….always an adventure!!

We could use a little more B Frank in our lives.

My "Big Bouy" was named Ralph , a good sized German Shepherd who traveled in the cab of my work truck from job to job along the east coast. Truck was broken into twice but I never lost a tool.

His picture is on a plaque in my workshop and I smile with him often.

B. Frank warmed my heart today.

B. Frank Franklin was my favourite part of the old SCA. I nearly cancelled my subscription when he ceased contributing to the magazine.

What Stephen D. Regan wrote goes for me also. I purely miss the printed magazine, but you know that.
