I discovered this young man's YouTube channel a few months ago. What a talented engineer and videographer! Recently he has been documenting his transformation of a derelict stone cottage into his dream workshop. I look forward to what contraptions he will design and construct in the new space, once it is complete.
In light of his comment about the bow wheel, perhaps he should be able to unpin the hinge and install a chafe plate for grounding. The changeover from water to land would take a bit longer but it would be less of a drag.
Amazing! Ben must have a doctorate in mechanical engineering. He not only has a good head but also a good heart. I just stick to paddling though.
This was a great find, and I really enjoyed the video!

That is so cool! I want to retrofit my 15' Grumman so I can go by land or by sea! Anyone know of a kit?

What a beautiful way to experience Scotland. Thanks for posting this, Henry!
I would enjoy doing it on the water, as shown. The terrain for the return trip would be too much stressful for my current condition.
really neat.
