Great pics Josh, thanks for sharing! They bring back wonderful memories of living/sailing in Sarasota as well as past Cortez and Cedar Key events. While attending Sarasota H.S. in early 70's I learned to sail on Sarasota Bay at Bill O'Learys sailing school - fun times! Hope to make Cedar Key in '23. Keep up the great work at SCA!
Bill Jacobs has a great eye—we were pleased to get this gallery. We've got a few other photographers who will offer up a gallery of their favorites soon as well. Thank you for the kind words.
ANNIE is not a Drascombe Lugger but rather a wooden Drascombe Coaster built in the US by a retired builder in Maine.
Brilliant photos Bill and thanks for making them available to us Josh.
I especially liked the downwind catboat photo, having had a Suncat for many years!
Cheers

SRQ Native and Sailed with the Cedar Key Tribe a time or two. Wish you could have seen SRQ Bay before they messed it up

What a lovely surprise to receive this beautiful collection in my inbox! You really made my day!
As a SRQ Native I am glad to see 'Old Cortez' is still with us.
