Does the rule not have to many boats apply to boats being built? IMO, I think it’s fair to exclude from the rule- under construction, wind surfing equipment, paddle boards, canoes, boats under 8’.

Two comments:

1) As a corollary to #9, never criticize another person's anchor unless it is an authentic safety issue. Sailors sure can get defensive about these!

2) Related to #6 and #10; be flexible and know that "Get-There-itis" is what often kills people! (Howard Rice taught me this one.)
