We recognize a number of these titles—Black Feathers is the story of the restored Cal 20 competing in singlehanded Transpac. The Complete Rigger’s Apprentice and The Sailmaker’s Apprentice are the go-to texts on their respective topics. Barely visible is the excellent The Sailor’s Sketchbook from Flicka 20 designer, Bruce Bingham. Longtime SCA contributor Brian Gilbert’s book Fix it and Sail is aimed squarely at trailersailors. The Sinking of the SS Montebello: When World War II Came to the Central Coast of California is a fairly obscure title that looks interesting. Lots of good stuff in this stack.
