Jay Knight has been enjoying his Mathew Flinders 24.
The boat is a B&B designed Mathew Flinders 246, a 24 ft, 6 in cat ketch. Built over a three-year period, and has been completed for several years. I wanted a trailerable sailboat, the cat ketch is a cool rig, easy and quick to rig with lots of options to reduce sail as the wind pipes up. The boat is all electric, it has a Torqeedo pod drive that has proven to be an excellent drive system for the boat. 3 solar panels (2 on the stern rail and one on the cabin top) with the Torqeedo 3500 watt battery gives reasonable range, depending on the speed you want to motor. Composting head, lots of onboard water, refrigerator/freezer. A very comfortable maxi-trailerable boat.
Charlie Ewers is getting close on Spark, a Ross Lillistone Flint design.
Two coats of paint on the inside and front deck (tan still wet), ready to turn over so I can finish the outside of the hull. When that’s done the inside/deck will get another coat or two before I install the hardware The other boats are a Waters Dancing (now Timber BoatWorks) kayak and a Selway-Fisher Little Kate canoe.
Paul Bargren reports that the kids are making good progress.
Kids at All Hands Boatworks in Milwaukee are finishing off a Points East Pram, designed by Clint Chase. This was the Fall Session project, and we'll be moving on to the next project soon for the rest of the Winter session and the spring session. Each session runs about 16 meetings after school. About 15 kids usually attend. This year they've been working on the pram, two kayaks and some other woodworking endeavors.
Brad Kurlancheek is splitting build time between two vessels.
First is an Autumn Leaves 19' sailboat kit from CLC (4th year), second is a Night Heron kayak kit from CLC (2nd winter). Hoping to get that Night Heron out onto the water next season. The Autumn Leaves is scheduled for first splash sometime during my 90s (am 67 now) :-)
Tim DuBois is close to finishing one build and already plotting the next.
Currently in the finishing stages of building a 15' Solo Day by Ashes Stillwater Boats. I am building this canoe so me and my dog can go paddling. My favorite 12' Wee Lassie is just a bit small for the both of us.
Once that is done I have already assembled the frame for my next project which is a 18' Bo Jest by Glen L.
Eddie Breeden is making good progress on his build.
It’s a Paul Gartside 5M Scandinavian skiff. Beautiful like all his boats.

I am currently building a Iain Oughtred Ness Yawl. I've been at it for about 2 years and am now in the painting stage.
I would love to put together some photos and a little write up and share it with you fine folks. But I am not that savy and don't know how to get it to you guys. Any guidance would be much appreciated :)
We're not so much building a boat, but enhancing the Chesapeake Light Craft Peeler Skiff we built in 2014. She's currently back in the barn where we built her for some minor additions suggested by the way we've been using her on Narragansett Bay. When we finish those I'll send photos.
In the meantime, here's a link to the original build. Feel free to use any of the pictures if you want to.
