Description: This boat is loads of simple fun for the novice and the more advanced sailor.
Boat is 8 foot LOA x 4 foot beam built from 1/4” plywood and fiberglass with collapsable oars, blue Leg-O-Mutton sail rig, white Balanced Lug sail rig, kick-up rudder with tiller, and daggerboard. The Leg-O-Mutton sail has only the mainsheet line for simple control. The Balanced Lug rig can also be simply controlled by just the mainsheet; but with advancing skills, fine-tuning can be done with the topping lift, the boom vang, the downhaul, and two reefing points. Line and sheet mesh storage bags, boarding straps, regular cleats and clam cleats are located usefully. Flotation/storage air compartments with inspection hatches run down the port and starboard sides and also function as comfortable seating. You can blow it down; but, you can’t sink it.
