Have a look at the new SCA hat. I know, pretty sexy eh?

Now I know what you’re wondering—you’re wanting to ask me, “Josh, is that really what it looks like? Is SCA putting their own custom logo patch on a Richardson 112 Adjustable Trucker Hat?” The answer my friend is an affirmative 10-4!

Your next question comes as even less of a surprise. “That would make a perfect sailing cap—cool and breathable … can I order one from you now?”

The answer is….sorry, no. You see, we’ve got a big box of them here in stock, but we’ve decided they won’t be for sale. Instead we plan to give them to contributors who submit future feature articles for this Small Craft Advisor magazine Substack.

That’s right, if the niche fame and micro recognition of being an SCA contributor wasn’t enough, now we’re throwing a hat into the deal. And the next time you see someone wearing one of these hats you’ll know they’re an SCA contributor or on staff.

“Well, I really must have one,” you say. “So what’s the fastest way for me to get one?” Simple—send us an article and photos from your latest small-boat cruise, or better yet a recap and report of the small-boat group cruise or gathering you’ve just attended.
