Last month, in Part 1, we brainstormed about an ideal shop design for readers who want to build a boat in the 20-foot length range, or smaller. The idea was to come up with a fresh and relatively affordable design that would be flushed out by an architect, with plans to hopefully be made available by Glen-L Marine Designs—always a source of boat plans and kits, but recently also a provider of plans for vacation cabins and other tiny houses.
