I really enjoyed the article by Jonathan Lewis on the joy of sailing as we age, rather than shifting to power. It stirred up some thoughts and feelings that I wanted to jot down.

First of all, I need to say that nothing I write about boats will ever make any sense to a sane person. Nobody who has owned as many different boats as I have could possibly be considered sane. Even when I spread them out over my 82 plus years, it still makes absolutely no sense at all. So, we need to start with that premise …. I am definitely crazy…. about boats.
