Jonathan Lewis shared these images to illustrate the mast track changes he made:
My favorite modification has to be switching the plastic mast tracks on main and mizzen carbon spars to custom aluminum extrusions. Considerably stronger, no sun degradation and flawless performance.
Here’s a fun one from Patrick Owens:
Bolger mentioned the idea to make a dual mainsail that can open up for following winds. On my 13’ Grumman canoe.
Robert Bonar writes:
Boom Gallows I made for my Potter 15. Works great. Don’t need to use the topping lift. Something to lean against when standing in the cockpit. Also supports the mast when on the trailer.
Duke likes it too. —Oswald the Bold

I love the crew on the helm! And likely is the first to volunteer for the dog watch.
Patrick's mod makes me envious. I have sailed canoes for a long time and putting that much area aloft for singlehanding would make me nervous in an open canoe. However, I am well known as a chicken of the sea. This is reminiscent of the 19th century racing canoes.
