Mike Smith is working out details for a planned Lido 14 conversion to powercruiser. He writes:
Early sketches and maquette of a Lido 14 microcruiser day boat. No sleeping quarters. The centerboard case is cut away and the cabin top also for a clear path up the center. Sun protection only. No glazing or at most only half way up for spray protection
One 3 hp motor and a spare trolling motor as back up.
And below is a photo and video from reader, Robert Goad, of his BoxBoat cruiser.

Robert Goad, what are the dimensions on BoxBoat? Shades of Bolger and Michalak! Like it on principle alone, so looking for further reports.
Two thoughts on my part: I'm concerned the Lido can handle the displacement added by superstructure and deck. Fingers crossed. Second, I think the BoxBoat builder may wish he'd given the bottom at the bow more of a lift when pounding into seas which sometimes happens.
