Thanks - I will definitely be watching them! So exciting!
I watched Pip and all her sailing buddies do the recent Vendée race - how amazing is she!!! (https://www.youtube.com/@PipHareOceanRacing/videos) I may be too old and fragile to do these races anymore, but man, I sure love watching them - a small boat one will be a gas!
(If you don't know, Pip Hare is a gal who raced solo in the Vendée Globe around the world race - her mast broke in two one night, and she had to sail 800 miles on jib alone from the middle of nowhere to get to Australia. Her courage, resourcefulness and attitude were simply incredible to watch. Here's where she reveals what happened to her mast - it's quite moving - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMzc9J-gLUg )
VERY Exciting!!…..Oh to be 60 years younger again!!….I will definitely follow along!!…A True Small Boat Adventure!
Not for me, but I will be happy to watch. I have long said there is no virtue in inflicting suffering, especially on yourself.
Glad to see this content here as it is rather the “extreme end” of small craft sailing
What would be impressive is if a Potter 19 went along! :-)
