In miserably hot Texas, I often sailed at night on Lake Whitney in my Snark Wildflower as a 20-something. On moonlit nights, it was magical as a million little reflections danced on the water. Since I was a teacher with the summer largely at my disposal, I had nearly 3 months of night sailing each year, and I loved it.
Beautiful, uplifting, heartbreaking. I am so glad you both got to go through this wonderful sailing experience, but I am sorry for your loss.
