Our volunteer shop built a Clint Chase Caravelle, sailing model, with a veterans’ group. A great project and a great little boat. But it turned out they weren't using it, so our shop guys converted it to a bookshelf for them. My heart ached, but at least it's getting seen.
And speaking of classified ads, we’ve got a nice collection of for sale ads to post for paid subscribers next week….stay tuned…(here are just a few of the photos)…
It’s almost October, that means it’s time for your best spooky sailing stories! They can be factual or fictional—terrifying storms, out of control jet skiers, foggy bays, or supernatural encounters. Send your story to josh@smallcraftadvisor.com. We’ll publish most of what we get and give a prize to one lucky contributor at random.
