The advantage is that, when deflated, it does not need much space. On a day like today [90s] you have a floating sauna. Watch out for heat stress.

They have sold inflatable camper shells that some take off flip over to float around on lakes. I’m waiting for someone to put a sail on one, or an electric motor.
