Sailing snobs have a compliment they reserve for the nicest powerboat designs: “That’s a sailor’s powerboat.” The C-Dory 16 is a sailor’s powerboat, and I have one. I am a snob.
In present company I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I’ve used my C-Dory more than any boat I’ve ever owned. I love the cozy four-season cuddy and Swiss-watch Honda outboard that starts every time, combined with a deck layout perfect for photography, sightseeing, or work duty as a tender.
