Just glanced over at the shelf in the office and realized a nice little natural book stack was taking shape. We know from previous exchanges that most of you have similar stacks beside your bed, on shelves, or out in the shop or garage.
Everyone enjoys discovering new nautical books, so send us your own photos and feel free to add comments or notes on particular favorites if you like.
Here’s my stack:
Tom Pamperin’s fantastic Jagular Goes Everywhere is stitting there because we just got them back in stock.
The writing in Griffiths’ Magic of the Swatchways always inspires!
The Boat Data Book is, as the description says, “a treasure trove of invaluable information for boatowners, designers, builders, surveyors, chandlers and anyone maintaining their own boat.”
David Nichols’ excellent Brotherhood of Pandora is a new release we covered here.
A Thirst for the Sea is a hard-to-find non-fiction book about Riddle of the Seas author Erskine Childers. His real life was even more eventful than Riddle.
The Seaworthy Offshore Sailboat, by longtime SCA contributor, John Vigor, is a wonderful examination of small-boat seamanship and boat design and modification considerations.
We just reissued Captain Paul Esterle’s big informative book, Optimizing the Trailerable Sailboat.
Boatbuilding with Plywood is one I reference regularly for Glen-L.
OK, share your stack with readers. Send a photo to josh@smallcraftadvisor.com -Eds
Just finished "Pandora" and it was a delight! I hope a sequel is in the works!
