Climbing the steps up the four-story-high cliff to the Outer Island Lighthouse is not exactly drudgery, but I’m not having fun either. Maybe I’m just a bit blue. Going over my plans for the day it seemed reasonable to visit the lighthouse grounds one last time before sailing to a safer anchorage. I walk the grounds looking for the best view, hoping to see something new, and perhaps stir up the dragonflies again. They’d been out in the hundreds—no, thousands—yesterday. I had never seen anything even close to this before.
